Recently, there was a social media post which attacked the character of a district teacher. That post raised issues previously reviewed by the Board and the Administration prior to hiring this person. The social media post was taken down shortly after it was posted. Nonetheless the Board once again reviewed this matter and found no basis to reconsider its hiring decision. The individual in question along with every district employee is required to obtain a clear criminal and child abuse background check before their employment.
